With a net worth of $45 million, Wiz Khalifa began his music career with the release of his first album in 2006. The next year he signed a deal with Warner Brothers Records. His second album was released under the Warner Brothers label in November of 2009. The next year, in 2010, he released a single and signed an Atlantic Records deal. Then in 2011 he released his next album under the Rolling Papers label. Since then he has released more albums that have made it to the Billboard 100 charts.

In 2015 Khalifa released many singles, including a remix of a Fall Out Boys song, which he performed with the group at that year’s Billboard Music Awards. Early Career

Wiz Khalifa was first discovered by a record label founder in 2004. Wiz Khalifa was 16 years old at the time and signed a deal with Rostrum Records. The deal he signed was for both management and recording duties. He chose Khalifa as his stage name for its meaning; successor. Since he turned 17 years old he has had his stage name tattooed onto him.
