Australian-born English computer programmer and entrepreneur Nick D’Aloisio has an estimated net worth of $32 million (£20m) as of 2015, according to Sunday Times Rich List. Born Nicholas D’Aloisio-Montilla in Australia on 1 November 1995 and grew up in London, England. D’Aloisio attended the King’s College School in Wimbledon, London and currently studying at Hertford College, University of Oxford.
Although less popular than other teen millionaires, Nick D’Aloisio is a self-made millionaire, well … boy, after he sold to Yahoo! his app Summly. He earned $30 million of the deal, making him the richest self-made teen in the world.
He has invested in Swedish start-up Tictail, which allows retailers to design their own websites free of charge. In his final year at King’s College School in Wimbledon, D’Aloisio also works for Yahoo developing applications involving similar technology. He is the winner of the 2014 Apple Design Award at WWDC for its technological and product excellence. His parents Stanley and Diana D’Aloisio are of Italian and Spanish descent.
