Born in Dortmund, West Germany in 1989. Borussia Dortmund and German national team attacker Marco Reus has an estimated net worth of $20 million. Reus, who is widely noted for his versatility, speed and technique, began his playing career in 1994 when he signed for his hometown team Post SV Dortmund. Two years later, he joined Borussia Dortmund’s youth academy and played there until 2006 when he became part of the under-19 team Rot Weiss Ahlen. In 2009, he left the team and penned a four-year deal with Borussia Mönchengladbach but returned to Borussia Dortmund in 2012, when he thoroughly enjoyed his best-ever campaign, registering 18 goals and another 8 assists to his name. Reus has also represented his country’s football team since 2011, but he unfortunately missed out the 2014 FIFA World Cup due to injury after playing a key role in Germany’s qualifying games for the contest. At club level, he helped Dortmund claim the 2013 DFL-Supercup title, while his individual honors include the Footballer of the Year in Germany in 2012 as well as the 2013 UEFA Team of the Year. In the same year he was also listed as the fourth best football in Europe by Bloomberg.
