Born in Tulancingo, Mexico on May 23, 1972. Mexican American horse racing jockey Victor Espinoza has an estimated net worth of $4 million. Espinoza started his career riding in his native country before relocated and continue his profession in California. He is the 11th of 12 children, who were all raised up on a dairy farm. He has won the Kentucky Derby three times, with the very first in 2002 riding War Emblem. Espinoza has also won the Kentucky Derby riding California Chrome in 2014 as well as American Pharoah in 2015. He has two Preakness Stakes wins riding War Emblem in 2002 and California Chrome in 2014. His big break came in 2000 when he sealed the Breeders’ Cup Distaff riding Spain. In 2013 he celebrated his 3,000th career victory at Belfair Hollywood Park. A year later, Espinoza finished 8th on the National Earnings List for Jockeys.
