Stan Wawrinka Net Worth: $8 Million
Born in Switzerland in 1985. Swiss tennis player Stan Wawrinka has an estimated net worth of $8 million. He studied at the Rudolf Steiner School in Crissier until the age of 15 when he quitted the school to focus more on tennis, yet he still carried on his schooling by distance education with the French organization CNED. In 1999 Wawrinka began playing international junior events and entered the satellite circuit a year later. He turned pro in 2002 at 17 years old and went on to have won the French Open Junior championships and reached as high as No. 7 in the junior world rankings by 2003. The tennis star had also hovered just outside the top 50 by the end of 2005. His reputation has then become bigger following his successes in two Grand Slam singles titles: the 2014 Australian Open and the 2015 French Open as well as after he claimed a gold medal for Switzerland in the men’s doubles event at the 2008 Summer Olympics whilst paring Roger Federer up. He was also a member of the Swiss team that sealed the Davis Cup in 2014. Wawrinka firmly believes that he performs best on clay surface and considers his serve and backhand his best shots. He is married to Ilham Vuilloud, a Swiss television presenter and ex-fashion model since 2009 before breaking up in 2015 after having a daughter together.
