Born in London, England in March 1960. British film director and producer Simon Curtis has an estimated net worth of $5 million. He began his career at the Royal Court Theatre, serving as an assistant director. From 1991 to 1998 Curtis produced his first television series, and worked as the executive producer for the TV series Threesome from 2011 to 2012. He has produced the movies Mrs. Dalloway, Edward II, The Designated Mourner, The Tribe, and My Night with Reg in addition to his directing works in episodes of the TV series Tracey Takes On…, Freezing, Performance, and Cranford as well as in the movies My Week with Marilyn and Woman in Gold. In 2008 Curtis won a Banff Television Award for Best Mini-Series for Cranford and was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award and six BAFTA Awards.
