Born in Washington, D.C. in August 1969. American technology executive, activist, and author Sheryl Sandberg has an estimated net worth of $1.13 billion as of 2015, according to Forbes. She is widely recognized as the Chief Operating Officer of Facebook and the author of “Lean In” which is one of the best-selling books. Sandberg attended and earned her degree in Economics at Harvard College before going on to get her M.B.A from Harvard Business School. From 1995 to 1996 she served as a management consultant for McKinsey & Company and she then went on to land a role as Chief of Staff at the Treasury at Larry Summers, working there from 1996 to 2001.
