Israeli-American businesswoman and entrepreneur Safra Catz has an estimated net worth of $525 million, according to Forbes. She attended the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania before earning her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. In 2011 she was appointed as the Co-President and Chief Financial Officer of Oracle working under the supervision of the company’s Founder and former CEO Larry Ellison. When Ellison declared his decision to step down in 2014, Catz together with Mark Hurd became the new CEOs of Oracle, the firm Catz has been with for more than 15 years. She is also one among the world’s highest paid female executives earning $38 million in 2014. At Oracle, Catz has played an important role in helping the firm acquire over 85 businesses to become the dominant force in enterprise technology. Besides, the entrepreneur is a director of the HSBC Group and is also a lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
