Welsh retired footballer and manager Ryan Giggs has an estimated net worth $62 million (£38m) as of 2015, according to the Sunday Times Rich List. Born Ryan Joseph Giggs on 29 November 1973 in Cardiff, Wales. Ryan Gigg started his football career in 1990, playing for Manchester United; where he has spent his entire career. Having played more than 1,000 games for Manchester United and Wales, Giggs, has been appointed as assistant manager of Manchester United by incoming manager Louis Van Gaal.
He played a handful of games in his final season but orchestrated some of their best performances – including their 5-0 away win against Bayer Leverkusen and their 3-0 home win against Olympiakos in the Champions League. He has opened a restaurant – Café Football – in Stratford, east London, with former teammate Gary Neville.
