He is best known for playing President Richard Nixon in 1984′s Secret Honor, as Sydney in 1996′s Hard Eight, and as Arthur in 2005′s Duck. Between 1989 to 1990 he played Ed Meyers in the television series Falcon Crest and as Williams Vaughn in the series Michael Hayes from 1997 to 1998. Hall won the Broadcast Film Critics Association award, Florida Film Critics Circle, and Hollywood Film Festival. His nominations included two Screen Actors Guild Awards.
