Born in Lagny-sur-Marne, France in 1993. Juventus and French national team midfielder Paul Pogba has an estimated net worth of $5 million. Pogba’s career began at the age of six when he joined Roissy-en-Brie’s youth academy. He then went on to play for two other youth clubs before penning contract with Premier League heavyweights Manchester United in 2009. In 2011 Pogba was included in the club’s senior team, yet he opted to leave for Juventus in July of 2012 after having been frustrated with limited playing chance at the Red Devils. Following the switch, he has to date been one of the Juve’s best players alongside Carlos Tevez and Arturo Vidal. Given the nickname “Paul the Octopus” for his long legs reminding some of tentacles, Pogba has also represented his country since 2008. At the under-16 team level, he was appointed as the skipper and led a successful team. Later, he captained the under-20 team to enjoy a victorious campaign at the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup, which won him the Best Player award for that tournament. He also claimed the Golden Boy award for the best under-21 player in Europe in 2013. In January 2014 Pogba was lauded by the Guardian as one of the ten most promising young players in Europe.
