British entrepreneur and investor Matt Newing has an estimated net worth of $155 million (£100m) as of 2015, according to the Sunday Times. He attended Rainford High School and St Helens Technical College. Newing is best known for Chorley-based Elite Telecoms, which provides call-queuing systems. He started the company back in 2000 with just two staff, since then Elite Telecoms has expanded to four offices in two countries, 95 employees and over 4500 customers. Newing is also serving as the company’s CEO. The Isle of Man based tech entrepreneur owns six other businesses. Outside his businesses Newing is Formula One enthusiast whose interests include wake boarding, snow boarding and golf. As a philanthropist, Newing has donated to Princes’ Trust and co-founded the Manx Educational Foundation which was created to help educate young people around in in Programming, Web Design, IT and SEO.
