The American basketball player was born on July 1952, in Providence, Rhode Island. He attended Central High School in Providence while he also played for his team at the Providence College.

He was the first player to score 10 times on 10 field goal attempts in the NCAA playoffs. He also led the nation in rebounding from 1973 to 1974. He broke his school record by scoring 52 points in one game. He was the #2 player inn ne NBA Draft of 1974 which was led by the Philadelphia 76ers. He was also hired by the St. Louis’s Sprits in ABA Draft of 1974. He chose to play for them for two years before going to play for the Buffalo Braves, Detroit Pistons, San Diego Clippers, and Boston Celtics. He also played for the Hurlingham Trieste in Italy.

He was nicknamed “Bad News” due to his frequent problems off courts in school. He also attempted to rob a bus with his gang of friends and was identified wearing his named state champion jacket.
