Mexican soccer manager and former player Manuel Negrete has an estimated net worth of $5 million. Born in Ciudad Altamirano, Mexico in March 1959. He played as a midfielder who began his career with UNAM Pumas where he played in 215 games and scored 53 goals from 1979 to 1986. Negrete then went on to leave Pumas for Sporting CP and later joined Sporting de Gijon following his short stint at Sporting. From 1987 to 1990 the footballer played for UNAM Pumas over again, being featured in 117 more caps and netting 39 more goals for the club. He also played for CF Monterrey between 1990 and 1991 before signing for UNAM Pumas for the third time scoring 11 goals in 38 appearances from 1991 to 1992. From 1992 to 1993 Negrete played his trade at Atlante F.C., between 1993 and 1994 at Toros Neza, from 1994 to 1995 at CF Acapulco, and from 1995 to 1996 at Atlante F.C. where he hung up his boots. Meanwhile, Negrete also represented Mexico’s national team from 1981 to 1990 and was part of the nation’s squad for the 1986 FIFA World Cup. Following his retirement he first coached the youth academy of UNAM Pumas and was later appointed as an assistant coach at Club Leon.
