Born in Baitoa, Santiago, Dominican Republic in May 1969. Dominican American actor Manny Perez has an estimated net worth of $8 million. He is the cousin of author Junot Diaz. Before his acting career, Perez relocated to New York after completing high school and then went on to earn a degree from Marymount Manhattan College. He took classes at Ensemble Studio Theatre and preformed with the LABryinth Theatre Company. In 1993 Perez made his on screen debut in the movie New York Cop, while from 2001 to 2002 he was featured in the television series 100 Centre Street, playing the role of Ramon Rodriquez. In 2005 he played Officer Manny Santiago character in the TV series Third Watch before landing recurring roles in the TV series Rescue Me between 2006 and 2007 as well as Homeland in 2013. In addition, Perez has also appeared in the movies Courage Under Fire, Bullet, Sleeping Together, Chick Flick, Dinner Rush, Brother, Russo, King Rikki, Washington Heights, Party Monster, The Breakup Artist, Bella, Yellow, Where God Left His Shoes, Rockaway, Illegal Tender, Pride and Glory, Last Call, Nothing Like the Holidays, A Kiss of Chaos, The Ministers, Forged, Greencard Warriors, and Love Is Strange.
