Born in Cookeville, Tennessee on August 27, 1951. Former American football coach for the Texas Longhorn, Mack Brown has an estimated net worth of $6 million. He graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1976. He made his debut as a football player for the Vanderbilt Commodores in 1969 to 1970 before moving to the Florida State Seminoles in 1972. He started out his coaching career as a student coach for the Florida State in 1973. He also served as a wide receivers coach for the Southern Miss Golden Eagles in 1979 and Memphis Tigers in 1978. Then, he joined other teams including Iowa State Cyclones, LSU Tigers, and Oklahoma Sooners, as their wide receivers coach, offensive coordinator, and quarterback coach. Brown became head coach for the Appalachian State Mountaineers in 1983. He proceeded to coached Tulane Green Wave from 1985 to 1987, and North Carolina Tar Heels from 1988 to 1997. He moved on to join Texas Longhorn which saw his most success as a head coach. He led the team to receive the Rose Bowl in 2006, and also the Big 12 Championship in 2005 and 2009. He resigned from the team in 2013. He is married with four children.
