About Torrance Hatch

With a Lil Boosie net worth of $4 million,  Boosie Badazz, released his first album in 2002. The album was released by Trill Entertainment, which Boosie had joined in 2001. In addition to releasing his first album in 2002, Boosie also released a mix tape. He went on to release one album each in both 2003 and 2004. In 2005 he released three more albums and signed with Warner Brothers Records.

A Major Debut

It wasn’t until 2006 that Boosie would release an album on a major record label. A DVD was also released in which Boosie talked about his diabetes diagnosis and how his father died as the result of drug abuse.

Boosie went on to release more mix tapes and singles from 2006 to 2009. In 2009 he went on to release his second album under a major record label. He also released a mix tape addressing the time he spent in prison.

Prison Time

In November of 2011, Boosie pled guilty to charges stemming from his drug use. He was expected to serve an eight year prison sentence, having already been in prison since 2009. An accusation against him of first degree murder in 2012 a jury found him innocent. By the end of that year the team of lawyers working for Boosie successfully argued that the drug ring he was implicated in had been a set up. As a result, Boosie was eventually released from prison in March of 2015 and must serve parole ending in 2018.

Continued Success

Being in prison did not stop Boosie from wanting to continue with his music career. When he was sent to prison his computer was confiscated but when it was returned to him in 2013 it had many songs on it that he had written but not been able to release before he was sentenced. A month after being released from prison he held a press conference in which he announced his new Atlantic Records deal. As of 2016 Boosie is still releasing records and collaborating with fellow musicians.
