British fashion retailer, Julian Dunkerton has an estimated net worth of $410 Million (£263m) as of 2015, according to Sunday Times rich list. Dunkerton is the co-founder of SuperGroup, the parent company of premium fashion brand Superdry, which started in 2003. He started selling clothes in London from bin bags after borrowing £2,000 from his father. He went on to set up SuperDry with James Holder and Theo Karpathios. Dunkerton became well known after David Beckham wore a jacket one of his jackets. Other key celebrity endorsements includes Jamie Oliver and Leonardo DiCaprio amongst others.
His stake in the Cheltenham-based SuperGroup is worth now £445m as reported by Sunday Times. Found mostly on high-end streets, SuperGroup has over 300 stores in 40 countries, and a boosted turnover £360m in 2012/13. In 2004, a store dedicated to selling Superdry products was launched, following the successful of Superdry Cult Clothing.
