Born in Dayton, Ohio on September 29, 1960. American basketball administrator, former coach and basketball player John Paxson has an estimated net worth of $4 million. He started playing basketball at Archbishop Alter High School in Kettering, Ohio. Nationwide, he was considered as one of the best guards and the McDonald’s All-American Team in 1979. He played college basketball at the Notre Dame Fighting Irish basketball team where he was named the All-America selection. He finished with 1,366 points, 411 assists, and 133 steals. He was 19th spot in an overall pick by the San Antonio Spurs during the 1983 NBA Draft. He played two seasons for the team before becoming a free agent with the Chicago Bulls. On August 22, 1994, he officially retired from the game. In 1995, he became Chicago Bulls’ assistant coach for short time. He also worked as radio broadcaster and joined Neil Funk’s show. In 2003, he was appointed as Bulls’ Vice President of Basketball Relations. He is married to Carolyn Paxson and has a son.
