Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in October 1973. American Greco-Roman wrestler and mixed martial artist, Joe Warren has earned an estimated net worth of $3 million. The sturdy athlete started wrestling at East Kentwood High School and in his college years in the University of Michigan he began competing. During this time, he received sixth and ninth places at the 2000 World University Championship and 2005 FILA Wrestling World Championships respectively. Warren claimed the Pan-American and World Championship in 2006 and the World Cup the following year. In 2008, he also joined his fellow countrymen and traveled to China to compete in the Olympics. In the same year, he moved from wrestling to mixed martial arts and began his professional career in 2009 when he competed for the Dream promotion in Japan before joining Bellator. There, Warren claimed the Bellator Featherweight Championship; winning Joe Soto in September 2010 just to lose the title to Pat Curran two years later.
After losing the title, he won the Bellator Bantamweight champion; winning Eduardo Dantas on on October 10, 2014 at Bellator 128 through unanimous decision. He was defeated by Marcos Galvao in his first title defense on March 27, 2015. So far, he has professional MMA record of 12-4 and is currently ranked the #7 Bantamweight in the world.
