Born in London, England in March 1961. American businesswoman Jayshree Ullal has an estimated net worth of $470 million as of 2015, according to Forbes. She has served as the president and CEO of cloud networking firm Arista Networks since 2008. The company had fewer than 50 employees.
Ullal attended and earned her degree in electrical engineering from the San Francisco State University before going on to get her master’s degree in engineering management from Santa Clara University. Following her graduation, she started out at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and later Fairchild Semiconductor, holding engineering and strategy positions. In 1993 she joined Cisco where she became vice-president and later senior vice-president; working there for 15 years before becoming the CEO and president of Arista Networks. She has been honored by many magazines and organization. In 2015 Ullal was ranked #30 on the America’s Self-Made Women by Forbes. In addition, she was the first woman to be awarded the 1999 Entrepreneurial and Leadership award. She is married with two children.
