French chef, television personality, and author, Jacques Pepin has an estimated net worth of $20 million. Born in Bourg-en-Bresse, France in December 1935. Jacques, who initially worked at his parents’ restaurant Le Pelican and then went to work in Paris, served as the personal chef for three French heads of state from 1956 to 1958 and later resettled in the United States in 1959 to work at Le Pavillon. While he was hired by Howard Johnson to develop food lines for his chain of restaurants, Pepin earned a B.A. and M.A. from Columbia University.
The celebrity chef has appeared on the TV series Rachael Ray between 2013 and 2014 after having hosted the television series Julia & Jacques Cooking at Home which won him a Daytime Emmy Award in 2001 for Outstanding Service Show Host and a nominee for the same award in the previous year.
