Japanese special effects director Eiji Tsuburaya had an estimated net worth of $5 million. Born in Sukagawa, Fukushima, Japan in July 1901. He was widely recognized as one of the creators of the Godzilla series and scores of television series as well as Japanese science-fiction movies. Throughout his career Tsuburaya carried out creating numerous films including The Skin of the South, Destroy All Monsters, The Man Who Came to Port, Godzilla, Godzilla Raids Again, Half Human, Godzilla, King of the Monsters!, Godzilla vs. the Sea Monster, Legend of the White Snake, Song for a Bride, The Hidden Fortress, Submarine I-57 Will Not Surrender, Rodan! The Flying Monster, Battle in Outer Space, Storm Over the Pacific, The Last War, Kind Kong vs. Godzilla, The Lost World of Sinbad, Mothra vs. Godzilla, Frankenstein Conquers the World, Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine, Invasion of Astro-Monster, War of the Gargantuas, King Kong Escapes, Sound of the Mountain, Son of Godzilla, All Monsters Attack, A Thousand and One Nights with Toho, The Human Vapor, and Ultraman. Besides, he is also the founder of the visual effects studio Tsuburaya Productions. At the age of 68 Eiji Tsuburaya died in January 1970.
