Byron Allen is American stand-up comedian and television producer with an estimated net worth of $300 million. He is the founder, chairman and CEO of Entertainment Studios, a US television production company.
Born on August 22 1961 in Detroit, Byron Allen began doing stand-up comedy in Los Angeles when he was a teenager. Comedian Jimmy Walker saw his act and was very impressed. He invited the 14-year old Allen to join his comedy writing team alongside promising comedians Jay Leno and David Letterman.
Byron Allen made his television debut on the “Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson” when he was 18 years. He holds the distinction of being the youngest stand-up comedian ever to have performed on the show.
While performing in various shows, he learnt the ins and outs of television production. His foray into television production began in Los Angeles in 1993 when he founded Entertainment Studios, which produces, distributes and sells advertising for 32 television series, making it the largest independent producer/distributor of first run syndicated programming for broadcast television globally.
In the year 2007, Allan married Jennifer Lucas. The couple has three children: two daughters, Chloe Ava and Olivia Rose; and one son: Lucas Byron.
