Moroccan real estate magnate Anas Sefrioui is the General President of Douja Promotion Groupe Addoha. Forbes estimates the self-made billionaire’s net worth at $1.1 billion as of 2015.
Anas was born on May 16 1957 in Fes, Morocco. He dropped out of secondary school. He began working with his father on a project to create a type of clay for washing a person’s body and hair. This experience helped him in running his own business.
Anas Sefrioui founded a real estate group in 1988. Today he owns around 61.7 percent of Douja Promotion Groupe Addoha, a publicly traded company engaged in the real estate sector. Its principal activities include construction, development and marketing of real estate properties. It trades offices and commercial places, villas, apartments, lands, etc. Its properties are located in many towns and cities of Morocco, including Casablanca, Al Jadida, Ain Aouda, Beni Mellal, Tetouan, Fes, Marrakech, Tanger, Sale, Mekns, Tamesna, Kenitra, Rabat and Fgih Ben Saleh. The company has won many government contracts to develop low-cost housing in Morocco.
In 2013, Sefrioui invited soccer superstar Lionel Messi to attend an event promoting the polo club of Marrakech. He is married and has three children. He lives in Casablanca. He is one of the most powerful African business leaders.
